Greetings Ike,
It's my perception that sentiment has/is very negative in the West regarding apparent disintegration of Pakistan political stability. Concerns have been raised about the security of Pakistans nuclear arsenal. No disrespect Ike but allowing US special forces unfettered access to your country and abandonment of its sovereignty is not particularly confidence building. It smells like desperate measures to control an out of control situation. I truly hope I'm wrong here.
It is good to have you back BTW.
Regards
C

I must demur to your plainly advantageous position, writing from Pakistan. I am encouraged by your confidence in your countrymen, and dearly hope you are right.

Operation Anaconda disturbed me a great deal - it was the same hit and run tactics used against the Soviets, from Pakistan. Do you think the Musharef government is going to allow US troops to cross into the NW territory to kill these jehadis?

Hi Ike,

Would the Saudi government be interested in driving a wedge between the US and Pakistan?
