<<Quixote windmill tilting assholian antics. >>

No,(damn-it) fighting evil may be seen as tilting at windmills because the evil so massive as to be beyond the point it can be beaten, it doesn't mean the evil shouldn't be fought. As I often wrote Rarebird, truth must be the goal, even if when won the truth gained is only a relative greater degree of truth instead of absolute truth.

The quest for truth should not be seen as antics or (on the other side)a profit opportunity.

We've taken a lot of grief for being right about Bill's frivolous, Quixote windmill tilting assholian antics.

If you were indeed that certain, why didn't you cocksure
folks smugly sit back and ignore all the GATA hoopla around you. That you didn't only shows you were all not only an exceptional bunch of masochists but that you all had some niggling doubts about your stand.

Of course, it is always only too easy to exult after the verdict of a judge who really had based his judgement on two "technicalities". All too often, what is "legal" is not
necessarily ethical.

The last remark in my last post was just meant to be ironic

... be realized that the GATA suit was quite unnecessary
to begin with... seer points for those of us who KNEW
immunity was the law of the land and had the FORESIGHT
as well as the balls to realize IN ADVANCE the ridiculousness
and unnecessary irritant of the GATA nuts trial balloon lawsuit.
We've taken a lot of grief for being right about Bill's frivolous,
Quixote windmill tilting assholian antics.
Now with his head on Shakta's Lance Point
and being paraded around the parade grounds
in its dripping bloody gory glory,
the headless HOWErseman has been dispatched
in record time with minimal cost to the taxpayers.
Hrrmph![End.]

Le Metropole Members,

James Turk has served commentary
from The Freemarket Gold & Money Report
at The Matisse Table entitled, "Howe vs. BIS."

"So Reg loses in court, but he still wins.

Reg wins because this ruling appears so contrived
in so many respects, even the most casual observer
who chooses to read it will readily understand
that this ruling says little about justice,
but everything about power.

In the end, this ruling says that the Defendants
Greenspan, Summers and McDonough
are above the law.

Even the Stuart kings of Britain yearned for such unbridled power.

But this privilege of sovereign immunity
does not extend to the other Defendants,
which brings up another reason Reg wins."

OUTSTANDING summary
of Judge Lindsay's recent ruling on Reg Howe's lawsuit.

While we lost this battle in court, it is CLEAR
that the GATA/Reg Howe camp is winning the war.

The Gold Cartel is in big trouble.

Is there one gold company out there that can run with the ball from here?

Reg Howe, with his extraordinary effort, has teed it up for any of them.

That is what the judge is telling them.

All the best,
Bill Murphy

Bear Sterns gold analyst was on CNBC this morning with Liz & Carl. He also affirms gold exploration has been far reduced from the highest levels of the early-mid 80's. He expects a higher gold price, but didn't give a target.
