Our world and our existence are utterly incomprehensible by their very nature

Untrue. Most of our world is intelligible. And despite disagreement on the details, humankind shares a fairly discreet appreciation of the sciences and their application to the field of our experience--and vice versa.

We know what happens in life and we know what happens after death. Although you can only know the past by inference, that is not the same as considering your world "utterly incomprehensible". Your very statement, for instance, relies on the assumption that "reason" is indeed comprehensible and meaningful: "There are educated people who, through reason and sense, are able to understand that." Thus, your assertion shouts the very thing it attempts to deny: to wit, that reason is a comprehensible and meaningful asset for making the world intelligible...

What is it that you think you find "utterly incomprehensible" about your existence?
