richy, I am not a Roman Catholic, or a Catholic, of any kind. When you say my Bible says that turning the other cheek is cowardice, you lie, or as usually, have completely misread what was posted. Those aren't even my words. I said "appeasement" is cowardice. Not the same thing, but why would I expect you to be able to accomplish comprehensive reading? I don't know what your "Christian" Bible is, but it is vastly different from any of the 7 versions in our home's library. What you quote, doesn't even sound like what one would read in a Bible sanctioned by the Southern Baptist Convention. Yes the early Christians that faced the lions in the Roman arena, were very brave, and died for their beliefs, but where did that get them. To an early entrance into Heaven, yes, but it didn't do the cause of Christianity on Earth any good. But, that's OK. If you want to kiss the butts of Arafat, Hussein, and Bin Laden, that is your privilege, and will do nothing but get you killed. Really smart move.
