I dont think we have a Real estate bubble, outside of several major areas housing has only done OK. I think what we DO have is a DEBT bubble predicated on RE values going up. I was arround in the late 80's and this is no where l;ike the bubble in RE then.

It seems even a slowing in the real estate construction boom could have a huge impact on the direct and indirect employees of the construction industry. I haven't seen any stats on job growth in that sector, but it seems to me the number of builders, electricians, plumbers, framers, sheetrockers, etc. must have ballooned to keep pace with the level of construction going on. Also, what is the growth in the number of realtors ?
