Geo Bush extended the invitation, it was insincere.
It is most likely insincere no matter who generates the invitation since Oprah is not a relief worker and a talk show from the sands of Afganistan is not practical. That just means it is a publicity generating political event. I see no problem with Oprah picking and choosing those events as she pleases. Maybe she would agree to go if Bill Bennet would agree to hand out marijuana to cancer patients in California the same week. Afganistan as well as America will be better off with Bush out of office.
