After Hours Headline reads :

COMMERCE ONE CRUSHED ......

cbs.marketwatch.com

This is one of the reasons I don't read very many news articles. How desperate can a news agency be than to headline a penny stock getting crushed, down 4% on bad news. Notice how they never mention the price.

Pitiful!

ESV and PTEN look like they will lead the energy sector down tomorrow.

Dabum,

I am curious what you saw in those charts to make you feel a bottom is near? Is it because they are nearing support at their lows for the year? Or do you think that CC is the bell cow?

Or do you see something else I don't see?

Just trying to learn.

Thanks,

JRH

DB:

I took a look at the index and the following stocks:

CC HD BBY TGT COST JCP AEOS ANF NKE

Okay, NKE isn't exactly a retail stock, but in my mind it sort of clumps in there. Of these stocks only CC looks like it has made a turn, in fact it looks like a buy, in small size, and if watched carefully. All the rest are, if not good shorts, then they are still definitely in the stay clear column to me. Stochastics and MACD pretty much relentlessly down.

It could be a long wait for these guys to turn, imho. Stay tuned.
