IMO whatever discoveries they made would have been made anyway. But give them credit for their discoveries that's fine. I take issue with using ancient history as a reason. We are 1000 years away from those times. If you want to go back and review the history of islam btw, it was murderous in it's past also. But let's not dwell on that, you'll just say so what..the crusaders did it too. When you say that if it wasn't for the mongols, you are confirming that they were mnurderous. I don't want to digress into arguing over ancient history, that is the way that people never arrive at answers. They get caught up in related and unrelated topics. IMO since we are in the present, that is what is important. IMO the root cause of the problems is not Israel, it is islam. Tell me what you think would happen if the Pals took over Israel? Do you think that everything would be okay then? If you could guarentee that I would say okay give Istael to them, what do I care? I don't think you can though. I don't think that the muslims in India, Indonesia, Sudan, Algeria, etc etc etc really give a crap about what happens in Israel, and I believe that they would still kill non muslims no matter what happens in Israel.
