Its been several months but I can recall most of the details. I don't remember the movie details but I do remember that continuing to chase, catch, and kill the "murderer" of his wife was essential. This is where all his memories begin and this is where all of his memories will always end. Leonard took a picture of Teddy being killed. He now has evidence of having successfully accomplished the goal of killing the "murderer." So we cannot really draw a conclusive picture of what he will do from that point. Good place for the movie to end. I speculate that it would not take long for the legal system to notice him at this point and that he would likely become intrenched in the rehab support system.
