T, But the old Beetle was super reliable. And it could slog through snow better than a jeep. The new Beetle, and all Vw products, have poor reliability now and I haven't tried them in the snow. I guess getting through the snow is not a major consideration in Houston, so I should stop giving the old Beetle points for that. But I loved the old tv ad where the snow plow driver gets to work in a Beetle. However, the new Beetle wins hands down for a great air conditioning system, which you couldn't get on the old air cooled Beetle. Again, I didn't need it in Germany when I had the old Beetle, or in the Bay Area, but I sure need it here in Houston.
