If no Arabs recognize Israel's "right to exist", then to whom was Egypt offering full peace and security in 1971? Who finally came to the bargaining table in 1977 and signed a peace treaty with Egypt at Camp David in 1977? Was that some ghost country?

But you have Hamas, the most extreme Muslim fundamentalist group in Palestine, representing the Arab world. You're being ridiculous. Take the position of Likud. Likud is a mainstream Israeli political party, kind of like the Republicans in this country. In fact, it is Ariel Sharon's party. They are still holding claim to Jordan!

That is the mainstream. On the extreme end, there are people in the settler movement who believe that Israel should be studying Nazi German history for better techniques.

Have you ever heard the expression "you made your bed, now lie in it"? That would apply directly to Israel with respect to Hamas.
