"My 1600+ ( DDR ) does it in 7 when I had it overclocked to 1700+ it did 6 seconds also."

I am curious, which method did you use to overclock?
Did you change the FSB a bit, or the bus multiplier
was unlocked?

Also, 6 or 7 seems to be not a very
accurate measure, usually it means +-1 on digital
or rounded numbers. Do you have means to increase
accuracy, by employing better timer, or increasing
the task size?
