Sad but true. It's much easier to start a war than a peace process. That's probably why these militant ideas are so popular. They led one assume that there is an easy, quick solution; but matters get only worse.

There is very little religion in Israeli politics... however, Israel must remain a Jewish state so that the Jews have a homeland.
