There is a fast way to stop the suicide homicides, and it is the way of life in Egypt and Jordan. If a person blows themselves up from one of those countries, their entire family is put to death.

If Arafat wanted to stop it, that announcement, that he is following the policy of the surrounding arab states would stop it immediately, except for those already drugged and readied.

RE: "Stop for a second and think. The Israeli are sweeping seven major cities, arresting between 1000 to 2000 combatants. That is done with a process of house to house search and destroy, and often met with resistance. Yet, the total number of Palestinians dead in a given day is between 15 to 35."

Zeev, that statement and little common sense indicates to me that there are lot more people dying than reported.

Tom

Zeev,

Thanks for your response.

Your estimate of Palestinian casualties seemed low to me after reading New York Times coverage, so I sought your reaction to the appeal.

That person did not contact me. The person is part of some international group of students who are trying to make peace. That message is being circulated on the net.

Regards,
