There is no other alternative. If there is to be peace in the Middle East then both sides are going to have to come to terms. America's fate certain doesn't rest upon us defending Israel. If they were a righteous nation and we transgressed them then we may look for some judgment. But if they are a nation no more righteous or wicked than those nations surrounding them and we come in as a peacemaker then we should have nothing to fear.

So many conflicting alliances. How can they do the right thing when they have so much in the game themselves.

The Arabs are squeezing us. The Arab's sorrow over the WTC attack didn't last long.
