While looking for something else entirely, I stumbled across my notes from the Aug 8th, 2000 investors conference. Thought the following was pertinent to some of our discussions. Message 14181718 1xrtt BTS's should be available "about a year from now". Handsets will follow in the 2nd half of '01 or 1st half of '02. If correct, they wouldnt have started rolling out 1xrtt basestations until August '01. I have no idea if they ended up following that plan. Some of the capacity numbers that Leap supplied are also pretty interesting.... Slacker
