Warp:

I could have been clearer, sorry. I think the indicators are just about in shape for a major league correction (the VIX, etc.) which would signal a buying oppo from the bottom (a high VIX). DB has been calling the support levels on the Naz if I recall correctly at 18-something, then 1755, now 1700. I don't doubt that these are support levels but I also have a sneaking suspicion that the force of the correction will overwhelm them.

As for financial TV being contrary indicators, true enough, but what I've been hearing about tech is more from the occasional intelligent guest and commentator on the lack on interest in buying tech. Normally CNBC types are very suspect when they are pumping a position which causes us all to believe they'll be exiting the market as the pigeons enter. This group of commentary is different.

Further, it's commentary that I'm hearing from various places, private email, etc. I read one this morning about the absolutely tremendous amount of goodwill which will have to be written down, just enormous amounts.

April rally? I don't think so.
