Charles is not blind, and he can hear pretty well, but he does lend a whole new meaning to the old phrase, blind, deaf and dumb, if ya catch ma drift. :)))

The competitors are trying to gain through the court system because they can't win by competing in the market place.

That's absolutely true. And the reason that they can't win by competing in the market place, as demonstrated and ruled in court again and again, is that Microsoft illegally subverts competition by leveraging its monopoly power to quell competitive threats.

The AG's are in this for personal gain as well.

You must be referring to those AGs who caved in to Microsoft's lobbying pressure and campaign contributions, and joined Dubya's DoJ in dropping the case for personal and political gain. You'll find little disagreement there.

If you don't see this, you are blind.

I hope you're not expecting to amass a wealth of Cool Points for your debating etiquette.

Dave

And if you don't see that the reason Microsoft's competitors find it necessary to resort to the courts is to overcome their abusive monopolistic tactics (as found by the court and affirmed on appeal), then YOU are blind.

Just what do you expect them to do, when faced with an abuse of monopoly power that stifles competition?

JMHO.
