What an interesting conclusion. Because of the current mess, the assault on Iraq will happen sooner rather than later.

What appears to be inevitable at this moment is an early date for the US assault on Iraq.

If there was a definition of "early date" mentioned there, I'd be tempted to make a bet or something.

Oh, right. After Sharon tells us to go take a flying leap, and every other ally gives us the cold shoulder, the natural way to regain face is to invade Iraq, all on our lonesome. Well, with Tony riding shotgun, assuming Labor doesn't get rid of him via a no-confidence motion.

Or maybe we should bomb an aspirin factory?
