He sent the Christians into the camps. Ergo, he contributed. Do you believe that Sharon knew what the Christians would do? Do you know what the Palestinians did to elicit such murderous bavior? The world was divided into the "good and bad", but it turned out to be the "dead and bad". After 3 wars designed to destroy Israel and murder more Jews, I can't take an even handed view. Arafat is the leader of an organization that was created to destroy Israel. People like you and Barak and Rabin, who don't want to believe there really is "bad", gave Arafat a Palestine Authority for promising not to destroy Israel. He lied. Maybe Sharon, who was a teenager during the Holocaust and who fought in the 3 wars that saved Israel, knows bad. In any case, Sharon has sent one of the best trained, most ethical armed forces to root out terror. He has told Bush that the operation will take time because care must be taken to minimize collateral damage. You may believe him or not.
