OT OT Cary -- You don't have to lecture me about antisemitism. I was court-marshalled in 1957 after visiting the Flossenheim concentration camp for personally seeking revenge on an ex SS trooper. Indeed Sharon knew there was, in Friedman's account, "indiscriminant slaughter" in the camps and that was verified by an Israeli tribunal. In fact, you would enjoy a great book about antisemitism and the Church, "Constantine's Sword", by Carroll -- an ex-priest. Oy, we're discussing the "Jewish problem". I'm hardly a pacifist, but I'll be damned if I suspend moral judgment of fellow Jews. In fact, the modern interpretation of the Torah is that the Jews are the chosen people who have a moral obligation to demonstrate universal compassion. Refute me with answers to the questions that I raised. In an AMAT post, Richard Palm did just that and I appreciated it. fred
