That could be the reason, but my experience has been that you do not go against an uptrend of new highs and down trend of new lows. I probably will use tomorrow morning to start and redeploy a little. We could reach the 1700 area on the first morning swoon, and at 1710, my "tactics" demand that I start to lower cash.

The money coming out of the large cap flowing into the small caps causing moonshots?

I think any financial professional would be sued if he didn't insist on diversication of equity holdings. Since a lot of shares are owned in MSFT INTC IBM etc as indicated by market cap, a lot of small cap stocks can be chased with those proceeds.
