Hi chip.

I think the set up is just about perfect.

Good earnings have not really come forth as this week is not the "flood gates are open" like next week is.

Wondering who lights the fuse.Intel is my best guess. They've dipped below the 200 and institutional purchasing should come in here.

I bought intel after it dipped to 54 twice several years back.On the third dip I bought in and it kept going down to 50(another 10%).Upon good earnings it raced up to 70's.

Intel has bounced twice on 28.50 over the last several months.Today they went thru 28.5 and traded 28.40.Give it another 10 % shake and it could well get rid of the weak hands.

INTC's earnings are due out on the 14th? next week. Could be the mover. They now have the first production 300 mm wafer fab and all other 200mm are upgraded to .13 micron line widths.

They are the most efficient and have a tremendous margin advantage.

The yields of a .13 micron 300 mm wafer is FIVES times that of a .18 200MM wafer.

Steady top line growth with expanding margins is the best scenario towards a brighter forward vision I can think of.Intel is the prime single best candidate to provide the GOOD VIEW that is out there. JMHO

I bought 1000 shares today at 28.55 hoping to snag some more betting on the come. gulp.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it! ggg

I also like Gem-x's time count. He says longest drops before a Bull Rally has taken 86-89 days. That puts the start of the Rally somewhere in Thursday thru Monday.Heck every time I count days I never know where to start - that means Wednesday could be good too.

It's getting very interesting that so many indicators are aligning around the first good earnings after an 18 month contraction.

Time to be long and strong.

Bob
