The "old adage" on Wall Street" used to be, however, "don't short a dull market", so, is this market dull or not?

Usually means the heavy selling is yet to come.

There really doesn't seem like much fear out there. Add to that the the semis are just starting to break down. INTC broke Feb lows today. NVLS is starting to break down, although it is below its lower bollinger band. AMAT and KLAC are right at the bottom of support and their B bands are pinching.

There is no fear, and if the semis puke it's look out below.

Unless selling volume just dries up completely and buying begins to take over. I don't see it happening just yet...but it has many times before...
