Gee, I like his pappy a lot. I think he is one of the most decent people to have held public office. I never saw anything that I would have construed as a sneer. He only came close when he was angry. I think some people just have a "thing" about New England WASPs from old families. They expect preppies to sneer.......

Today was a strange news day. I haven't been watching the news as much as I usually do the last couple of weeks because of the dominance of the ME, which has looked like reruns for most of my lifetime. A little while ago, though, CNN had on a Christian minister who was also an Arab and an Israeli citizen. Wow. That must make life interesting. Immediately following was the first showing of what I assume will be a ubiquitous commercial opposing human cloning. Right now they're showing a clip on the Ashcroft appearance on Letterman. I think it's time to turn off the TV and watch the two doves that have been hanging out on my window sill on and off all day.
