You are entitled to disagree with my opinion, and you are entitled to your own opinion.

Nobody sane, nobody who is well-intentioned, likes terrorism, no matter who is engaging in it.

However, the world has reached a consensus - the Palestinians must be given their own state. Israel must give up control of that state.

The world believes that this will reduce terrorism.

The world believes that this is a just solution, and has believed in the two state solution since 1947.

Is it going to stop the fighting? No. Some things are impossible. The world is unable to stop ethnic conflict, just as police, laws, and courts are unable to stop domestic violence. But when people don't get along, they should be separated to the extent possible.

Constant confrontation only breeds more violence.

I must admit it amazes me how universal the consensus has become, despite the constant barrage of criticism and accusation from pundits and pundit wannabees who accuse the rest of the world of hating Jews, loving terrorism, and caving in to oil interests.
