IBM rumored to be a distant Enron cousin, same stench
I remember in 2000, 2001, and earlier this year a good Boston friend from Digital days told me that half of Gerstner's genius was accounting chicanery

he is still there as a consultant, and assures me that much of IBM's growth in the Lou era is deceptive
so far, very minor games on the books
but it could get worse
I maintain that 30-40% of S&P500 firms do the same thing

Lou is from McKenzie
is there any difference between any major accounting firm?
Anderson, PWaterhouse, KPMG, McKenzie, Ernst&Young ???
is the centerpiece of their craft deception, offshore shit, SPE's, shell games, doctored books?

beginning to think Pandora's Box is not only stinky, but a well-traveled groove serving as an artery to a world of corruption
for every investigation, indictment, forced restatement, allegation, etc...
you can start the clock over again...
NOW S&P RALLY FOR 8-12 MONTHS
