Abject poverty, that's really about it.

I personally hate the comparison, as I said, making any comparison that compares anything to the Holocaust, especially Israelis to Nazis or Palestinians to Jews, is highly insensitive and trivializes the Holocaust.

But unfortunately, the Palestinian and Arab leaders are deliberately trying to make such comparisons to evoke strong emotions and perhaps get some non-Israeli Jews to support their cause. More propaganda.

For instance, every year, on the same day the Jews have a Holocaust Commemoration Day (Yom Hashoah), the Arabs commemorate the "Deir Yassin Massacre", when, in the Israeli War of Independence, many Palestinians were killed in the village of Deir Yassin when they were trying to attack the Israelis. This is, once again, by design. How do they celebrate it? They protest against Israel. This year, at the University of California-Berkeley, the Muslim students, as well as left-wing Americans, celebrated it by protesting at a Yom Hashoah memorial service.

I just can't respect these tactics.
