In all fairness, he defended Andreas' point that terrorism is a matter of perspective. Which is pretty much the same.....

In fact that is exactly it...

In all fairness, he never said that the Palestinian attacks were not terrorism. Of course, he says the Israeli ones are, and I'd have to disagree with him, except for when it comes to the dictionary definition of "terrorism".

My definition of "terrorism" is the intentional harming of civilians, but officially, that ain't it. Maybe we need a new word.

Z, what is wrong with the dictionary definition? I think anytime humans cause terror in other humans, its a form of terrorism. If we accepted that definition, we would be less inclined to war with each other.

Its terror that the people who went through 9/11 are dealing with now......its called post traumatic stress syndrome. And its PTSS that the non Taliban Afghans who survived the US bombings are going through now as well. Both were innocent but nonetheless both are paying the price of terror inspiring actions. It can take years to recover, and many won't.

I am not a pacifist per se but I see little that war accomplishes.
