Possible yes, likely, I am not sure, The Iranian and Iraqi hate each other more than they both hate Israel. Do you realize that until the "Islamic revolution", Israel was providing assistance to Iran? They had joint construction projects, water projects and agricultural projects going on for quite some time.

Anything is possible, but it would take something extraordinary for Iran and Iraq to cooperate like that. The irony is that the single biggest obstacle between Iran-Iraq cooperation is Saddam.

Which is why we'll keep yammering about Iraq but will not actually do anything to take him out.
