Picking #1 is a dangerous spot. Its great to have the first choice but it can be a setup for a big letdown. I think Carr has GREAT potential and in some ways reminds me of Favre. Harrington will also do fine in the right system. But I might have gone a different direction. The problem is I'm not sure if Houston has restrictions on what picks can and can't be traded. If there were no restrictions I'd have considered trading New Orleans the #1 selection for their #13 & #25 picks. I would also have tried to trade Carolina the 2nd and 3rd round supplemental picks for their 2nd rounder. This would have given Houston 4 of the top 34 picks and maybe helped reduce the chances of a draft day bust. Being selected #1 for a first year expansion team comes with a ton of expectations. I would trade out of those expectations and bust potential in return for having over 10% of the top 34 picks.
