John: I can totally connect with what you're saying....I RARELY agree with many of the Editorials written by folks like Buckley or Buchanan BUT they seem to have a pretty good grasp on the Arab-Israeli conflict. They understand some of the larger issues and how Israel's current military campaign could trigger some very unpleasant unintended consequences for all of the stakeholders. Lets hope that Colin Powell and Bush can motivate Sharon to be reasonable and start to compromise in light of what's happened in the last 2 weeks.
