When I use the word "moral," I am thinking of the rights and wrongs of human behavior in the context of human relationships.

Me, too. I would be more likely to say "right" and "wrong" than "moral" and "immoral" because, to me, the word, moral, has religious overtones and too strong an association with sex but I think we are talking about the same thing. Moral/immoral and right/wrong are entirely different from legal/illegal although there is a correlation between what is wrong and what is illegal.

P.S. E mentioned earlier someone calling her family "righteous." When I describe someone who is of good character/nice/decent/reliable I would say he is "good people." I picked that expression up from an old friend long ago. I can't imagine calling anyone "righteous." Now, "self-righteous" is another matter...
