Yeah, the latest round. The Irish bit can be said to have started in the 1600s or about 1916 with the Easter Rising. So both are fairly close to the same age on the near term scale.

What do you think the influence of oil money has been in the last 30 years? I'm curious on the rise of the suicide-killers. That used to be a last-resort defensive strategy only, among Arabs and Jews for centuries, and wasn't, to my knowledge, ever an offensive military strategy until recently with the exception of kamikazis. The idea of paying families for the lives of their children used as weapons is as low as you can get. It wouldn't work without the payoffs. Too much money chasing too few moral principles.
