Hawk: This is something that few people will argue about. I can assure you that the last thing in the world I would want to see is a world where this is common practice. My point is that the Palestinians have a right to exist in a Palestinian State -- I have not seen a shred of evidence that Sharon will ever allow that in any meaningful form. I think Sharon needs and wants this fight and has been looking for it all his life as an excuse to do with force what he has no intention of doing with peace making -- detroy the possibility of a Palestinian State. Are you familiar with his days as the "butcher of Beirut"? The Israelis elected this guy, and they are reaping what they sowed. The Germans elected Hitler and in the end they got what they deserved. And the Jews got what they deserved -- a homeland. Now it is the turn of the Palestinians.
