Why do the Palestinians have a right to exists in a Palestinian state when the Montagnards, Pashtuns, Kurds, Chechens, Cossacks, Qechuas, Walloon, Kosovars, Maronite Christians, Druze, Sikhs, Coptic Christians, and any number of other ethnicities and creeds don't have such a right? What makes the Palestinians so darn special that they must have a homeland when so many other ethnicities are denied one? Is it because they threaten us, or blown themselves up in our restaurants and holy places? Are we giving them a "homeland" because they actually have suffered something that warrants deserving one and elicits our sympathy, or is it because we're frightened of them, or just want them to quit whining, and "go away", so we give them what they want without conditions?? I've never stated that Jews had a right to a national homeland. What I've stated is that once established, and defended, no one has a right to dissolve that entity arbitrarily (like the Israelis would permit them to do so.. :0) But they do have the right to get their @sses kicked trying to destroy the only democracy in the region. The Palestinians have never been a nation, let alone a state. They have no obvious history of uniqueness, except for being able to trace a lineage to someone born in the geographical region.. a quality they now share with most Israelis who are native born in that country. And Palestinians don't complain about being ruled by an Arab king in Jordan, so why gripe about Jewish rule? Racist? If the Palestinians were so determined to have a state, why not Jordan?? It's far easier to overthrow King Abdullah, than it is to try and defeat the Israelis, especially when 70% of Jordan is Palestinian. And it's a hell of lot bigger and has a port facility. I've asked several times out here just what qualifies someone as being part of the "Palestinian nation", and few have really provided a satisfactory answer... How about you... Care to give it a try?
