I do believe that the region was God's gift to the Jews.
I believe that with all my heart.
I also accept the Muslims right to their religious site.
I won't make any claims to Christian sites.
Just let me visit them someday.

Excuse me, Tom, if you follow my postings you would see that I don't support the view that Israel should rule Palestine because of anything biblical. I support Israel because I consider it a legitimate country. A bunch of guys showed up in 1948, kicked some ass, caused a whole lot of trouble and as a result built a pretty decent place, it has it's problems, I agree, but I'd take a life in Israel any day ahead of any arab country. As well, I'm sure I'll stand corrected if I'm wrong, but the important zionists of 1948 onwards were not religious, ie David Ben Gurion, Golda Meir and the rest... They wanted Israel to stand on its own as a nation and not as an artifact of the bible. So there, How is the Hebrew breaking of the covenant with God relevant?
