AS I agree with much of what you say but vouchers are an area I disagree. Rising local property taxes have squeezed out families that would prefer private/religious schools. I believe that all govt mandated courses in private schools should be paid for with voucher money. That would cover approximately 85% of the tuition in most religious schools. It is not subsidizing religion but education and affording people choice.

I don't even know where to begin. I don't think I can say any clearer:

The democratic agenda is to tie people to the state, to make them dependent on the state, and to control them. If that isn't the classic socialist agenda, I don't know what is.

You've got to open your mind and see things the way they really are instead of cliches

I see that democrats want to make a universal healthcare system. The government again taking power from me and dictating what I do

I see that the democrats want to take my 2nd amendment right away so I can't protect myself or my family. Only the govt. can protect me.

I see that the democrats won't let me use my property tax for any school I want by using vouchers. That would take power from the government and somewhat restore it to the individual. Instead they want to take more of my money for a failing education system. Even when the Dept. of Education can't account for over a BILLION dollars.

I see that the democrats want to redistribute my hard earn money to people that are too lazy or stupid to make it on their own. The bottom 50% of wage earners only pay 4% of the taxes...That's fair.

I see the democrats wanting me to continue to pay into social security in its current form. I am 100% against SS but I am realistic that it will not go away in my lifetime. Of course democrats are against the individual taking control of their financial future because people are too stupid to be trusted with their money. Only the govt. can protect you from your stupidity.

Let me say again in case you did not see it the first time.
The democratic agenda is to tie people to the state, to make them dependent on the state, and to control them. If that isn't the classic socialist agenda, I don't know what is.

It is that simple.
