Tony, <AMD looks like they gained share in Q1 on $902M revs>

I love how they constantly shift their frame of reference. In Q4, they say they gained share YOY. In Q1, they say they gained share from Q4. And now they're saying that Q2 will hold gains from Q1.

By their own words, they make it sound like AMD never lost market share. Very slick.

Jerry said Clawhammer ships at the end of Q4 (repeated an analyst's words), with substantial revs in 2003.

Jerry mentioned Dell, an all Intel shop, twice now, as the one PC house gaining substantial share. Uses that as a reason to put more emphasis on market share vs. profitability.

Walked a tight rope re racial or ethnic slur stuff, in fact he said he was: re Geos, said something like thinking people buy AMD, which is why they aren't doing so well in Asia. This guy is a real dope.

Sampling Hammers clock speed? Avoided question, then said circuit anomalies were being worked through right now. They hope to validate an at least 2 GHz shippable clock speed by the end of this quarter.

CFO talking around 900M or a little below looking like breakeven for Q2, then said he's not predicting Q2 P or L.
