History is a funny thing. Everyone picks the timeline that suits their political agenda.

You say the problem started when the Romans, but a valid case can be made that the problem predates that as well. Like when Joshua and his gang slaughtered Canaanites and others and laid claim to their land, culture and faith.

With respect, I might say that your opinion and view comes from a Fundamentalist Christian source. Perhaps you want to rebuild the Temple and usher in the Messiah?

To all:

Wanted to mention, after re-reading something I was studying, and then going back to this post, I actually typed my dates wrong. The actual date of Syria-Palestina's naming was 135 C.E.

In 63 B.C. the Romans incorporated the country, then known briefly as Judea, into the Roman Empire.

Sorry for my mix up of dates.......

God Bless,
IGIT
