Joe, >

As many have said, this quarter is completely in a limbo, .13u is basically nowhere, .13u mobile design win must have been terrible, since Jerry mentioned something about the end of the year.

Agreed. How do you then explain AMD's (Hector I think) statement that 0.13 is ahead of schedule and that switchover to 100% 0.13 would happen a quarter earlier than plan?

Re <<Both great news, and I am glad that AMD sees things the same way I see it. Too bad it took them too long to realize this.>>

Any serious price appreciation in AMD will be due to the hammer. Athlon has been great and saved AMD from bankruptcy. AMD is at the end of a product cycle, and the bottom of steep semi cycle, and they are close to break even. That is a such a drastic improvement. Perhaps that was partially due to Intel's total incompetency. Maybe it was just as much Rambus, Merced, Timna and Intel's appetite for telecom that saved AMD that it was Athlon, don't know. Think of what all resources could have done!

Grove will always think "what if's" for years since AMD is still in business.

Lets see what Hammer can do!
