As you know, I question the intellect of liberals to begin with (as Dick Armey said last week on H & C, "they are shallow thinkers"<g>). With that disclaimer, I'd really like to know:

Does it not even occur to you that there are legitimate national security issues at stake in the ANWR argument, or do you just assume that Bush's motivation is solely to line the pockets of Big Oil?

Just wondering...

Another liberal scare tactic: "Evil Big Oil."

That argument flies right in the face of the other liberal scare tactic: "There isn't much oil there anyway, so why bother?"

Good question. Big Oil is paying big bucks to bulldoze a pristine area just for five or six barrels of oil. It's actually an underhanded way for Big Oil to carry out their ultimate goal: Destroy the environment in the name of God.
