No from my fuzzy memory the CSCO CFO indicated this quarter was on track (but this was a few weeks ago) and next quarter (they are on a fiscal like ORCL) is normally challenging.

Yea you can't go by traditional patterns at all. Not much life if its related to telecom. I expected software to lead this recovery but it doens't look that way. Maybe next year if the consumer doesn't pull in the purse strings.

Hi Lizzie!

What do you make of all these warnings from the software biz? Everybody has got hit, even MSFT and IBM. How did that happen? I'm thinking that these quarters are back-end loaded, and maybe something happened in the last two weeks of March to scare CEOs and stop the deals getting done. Or is this something to do with Enron? People finding out that they can't fudge the numbers anymore? What do you think?
