"But that Sanders cancelled the "the biggest business development deal" based on that?"

That is the biggest hole in the suit, that I can see.

Albert,

re: It becomes less believable when it spreads on the rest of the management, racist company? Give me a break......

Hummm, I've heard some amazing generalization about Intel management from the 'Droid camp. But I suppose that is beside the point.

If you put it into the context of the timeframe, right after the 9/11 attacks, it does become more credible. There was a significant backlash against Arabs and Muslims, by those that react instead of think (Mr. Sanders?). And there is a tendency at a lot of companies to imitate the social behavior of the leader, especially if the company is as hierarchical as AMD.

Who knows. I suspect there is some truth, and some exaggeration, to the suit. This guy was a senior executive, I doubt that this is pure fantasy. Honestly, do you put it past Mr. Sanders to act with some degree of bad judgement given the situation? Remembering his off the cuff (and remarkably stupid) statements about Intel, this doesn't surprise me.
