No I didn't. If Microsoft chooses neither, they will continue to see Linux take marketshare in the server market from them. as I stated, Microsoft considers Linux to be "the" threat. With a pretty constant 2% of the desktop market, it's safe to assume that Microsoft is worried there.

Consider that apache, which primarily runs on Linux or Unix, runs 65% of the active sites on the web, as of Feb. of this year.
