It was my stupid understanding before the morning-after spinning that they missed by 2 cents, with adjusted earnings of 49 cents vs. the expectation of 51 cents. Then add the 14-cent charge for a loss on investments, and you get more of a loss.

But there's confusion about the results, and as ML said: "Confusion regarding third-quarter results could provide an even more attractive entry point."

Confusion is as good as details, I suppose. Confusion makes it attractive. Confusion is what drives the new bull market -- confusion, granularity, angularity and detailed forecasts that show lack of visibility.

From a TA standpoint, it could hit 59.5, or even 62.4, IF it can get through strong resistance at around 57.8. And at some point, it could test support around 50. If and when it breaks 50 ....
