interesting poll info on Chis Mathews show

Sympathy toward Palestinians or Israel:
Germany 26% 24%
GBritian 26% 17% *
France 28% 18% *

* data flashed on quickly, so I might have missed the numbers a point or two.

Surprising to me about France since all the problems they have had with Algeria. Of course Emile Zola helped
get a high-ranking military officer off Devil's Island who was politically imprisoned there because he was Jewish.

Great Britian surprised me more, but they created
the mid-east boundary problems the US has inherited today.

Israel needs to retract their vow not to be the first to introduce nuclear weapons.

Israel should announce that they stand ready to nuke anyone and everyone who sends, finances, or harbors a terrorist who intends to kill it's citizens.

IMO history will show Bin Laden and Arafat have made major mistakes by devising their terrorist strategies.

Now, wasn't 9/11 a stroke of genius ! I mean, to have misunderstood America so badly as to launch a terrorist attack on our soil with Bush Junior in office, after what Bush Senior did to Saddam, that really took rare insight into the American mentality :-)

Arafat is showing himself to be a close second in provoking Sharon the way he has.
