Admittedly he is a flawed man and no saint but was a great president in terms of how we all benfitted as a society and economy during most of his eight years. Most Americans and most of the world loved him and were happy he was there. No one can deny that. Let's be fair on Marc Rich though. Reagan after leaving office immediately went to then trade-rival Japan and made one speech for $1,000,000. Would have made a ton more if he hadn't developed Alzeimers immediately after leaving office (in fact the onset was during his last few years which was why he spaced out during meetings). Henry Kissinger became a lobbyist for Chinese capitalists (and still is) making a huge fortune. Cheney went on to reap $100,000,000 while doing deals with the Taliban, Iran and Iraq (cleverly cloaked through subsidiaries) with Halliburton. Colin Powell made $50,000,000 within four years after leaving the Army (thanks to George Bush Sr.'s contacts and other mysterious sources). George Bush Sr. has all kinds of lucrative oil deals with Arab countries and other sleazy money sources including the Bin Lauden family and helped bring us Enron. GW also has been making a lot of money lately. Wonder where that comes from. His Dad? My take on Clinton is that he left office millions in debt thanks to the GOP attacks on him, never had any money to begin with and decided to make some money like his predecessors. Denise Rich is a very charming person and gives the best parties in New York and Aspen. They're nice seductive generous people but the father's white collar crimes are scary. Like a Bond villain. Clinton never met him. Denise may have seduced Clinton into it. She could do that if she's anything like her daughter whom I dated a few times (what a babe!). Anyway I think Clinton got seduced and made a mistake. After Monica he probably figured what the hell could get worse for his repuation? But he was wrong. Marc Rich pardon was a mistake. Anyway, Clinton is finally making money like the rest of them. Probably even out of debt by now. But why was he in debt to begin with? Whitewater, which was a totally frivolous lawsuit, fraudulent political assassination attempt and an abomination. Carter seems to be the only pure one in the bunch. He gave to humanity instead of taking. He's a real saint but saints don't necessarily win in this world, do they?
