First of all, Clinton is not a liberal for one thing. He clearly brought the dem party to the center. True liberals like Nader atacked Clinton-Gore-Lieberman just as much as they did Bush-Cheney. He told us there was no difference (which was BS). Secondly, if a President doesn't deserve full credit for 7 straight years of boom times then who does? Maybe you refuse to give him credit because you're jealous and hate it that he was right and the GOP was wrong, but facts are facts. I'll leave you with a quote by Dick Armey circa 1991. "I for one will not take responsibility when this bill (Clinton's economic plan) brings down our economy. So the GOP gave all credit-blame to Clinton in 1991 for the economy. Well guess what? Can't have it both ways. Meanwhile the name Bush and recession are becoming synonymous. I fully expect the next 2-3 years to be slow or negative growth except in polluting energy sources and defence, which are Bush's only priorities, especially oil. However if the democrats take congress they can start to reverse the slide through more conservative fiscal management.

This is pointless. You're blind to the wrongdoing of liberals, and Clinton in particular. Assuming, arguendo, that his accomplishments had been many, they still could not conceivably offset the horrible effect his presidency had on the country. Aaahhh, yes.......that Naz bubble was just plain wrong. And all those people getting off welfare was obscene. They were building houses like there was no tomorrow........it was a crime against humanity. I am so grateful to Bush for getting us back on track by starting up a recession.......what a stroke of genius. Man, I have to hand it to the guy........the dude's clever.
