the big underlying tide is now the USdollar
this topic is one giant incredible sad YAWN for most investors
the accumulation has been worldwide with USdollars since 1990
next is the distribution phase

but it is coming off its peak now
and mildly breaking down versus almost all major currencies
I outlined a couple nice links on QCOM thread
USdollar futures contract chart
USdollar chart comparison versus major currencies
excellent reading
check it out

the USdollar is way overdue for a correction
I believe it has begun
Roache believes it will be at least 10% versus Euro
with $2500 billion in USTBonds held by foreigners
and $300-400 B/yr in trade debt annually
this is shaping up to be the major issue with both the economy and the financial markets
it affects trade, economy, stocks, bonds
mostly stock market imho

the US$ correction will import the inflation that we have exported since 1990

I expect the correction to usher in the next recession
and perhaps a currency crisis
